Our Story
Ripping Zacks started the same way most collections do — with a love for the cards and a frustration with dealers who didn't know or care about the hobby.
Background
It started in the late 90s with a few packs ripped at the kitchen table. Like a lot of collectors, Zack grew up with Pokemon cards — trading on the playground, hunting for holos, and chasing that feeling of pulling something rare.
After years of buying and selling through forums, local shops, and eventually online marketplaces, one thing became clear: most dealers treat cards like widgets. They don't know the difference between a shadowless Base Set and a first edition. They don't care about condition the way a collector does.
Ripping Zacks was built to be different. Every card we sell is handled with care, described accurately, and priced fairly. Every card we buy is evaluated with real market knowledge — not a lowball offer from a price guide.
Our Principles
We show our work. Every price, every grade, every condition note is honest and explained. No surprises.
10+ years in the hobby means we know the cards, the sets, the market, and the nuances that matter to serious collectors.
Whether you're buying, selling, or trading — you'll get a fair deal. We're not here to win at your expense.
The Pokemon card community is what makes this hobby great. We're proud to be a trusted part of it.
Whether you're looking to buy a grail, sell your collection, or find a trade partner — we'd love to hear from you.
